Suicide belt

[Translation of blog post originally published by Hard Ingush on 2012.09.23.]

Here is what minor suicide belt looks like. As a rule it's yield is not more than half of kilogram of TNT.
If detained has it on belt or something similar and during the special operation he was injured (and nobody will let him surrender with such thing), control shots is going to be heard. Exactly the same shots as our former press-service employee (who had feared to participate in special operation and who came only when it was safe) is charging us with like it's some sort of proof of illegality of our actions.

Red arrow shows ring which activates IED.

Some questions from the comments to original post:

Q: Yes, it's it. It seems to be for emergency. But as a rule it isn't used, right? Though, it's obvious it will discourage to approach even to corpse.
HardIngush: It has small range. So using it makes sense only during detention. But it is called "belt" only out of habit. They hide it in crotch, in armpits, in the inner side of thighs. And ring is set up on wire.
There was a case when bandit got his balls and leg torn off causing injuries to nobody else. And somebody immidiately shot him because he was crying so hard that it was unbearable… It's unpleasant even to remember it.

Anonymous commenter: Do you know anything about guys killed in university yard in Sleptsovsk?
HardIngush: Of course I know. That was the very Dzeytov we eliminated recently. He gathered them and while they were shooting back this bitch ran away. Though we didn't need them, we had to fight with them. They only were intending to go to their first job, he brought weapons there, in university.
And then some bullshit began like we changed their clothes (why?), like we started shooting at them instantly (why?). In general, it's pity them, they died just like that… If they didn't open fire, they would had a chance to get only conditinal sentence.
Anonymous commenter: I have another information. One guy had no relation to all this. I saw him right before death, he didn't talk about anything like that, and he never had contacts with forest guys.
HardIngush: Nobody from them had contact with forest guys. This bastard inclined them using Odnoklassniki [Social networking service popular in Russia and some CIS countries]. And he invited them for “real job.” So that's why they had a little interest for us. Only Dzeytov interested us.
Q: “If they didn't open fire, they would had a chance to get only conditinal sentence.” Are you living on Mars?
HardIngush: No. They interested us a little. We knew for sure they hadn't participated in anything and Dzeytov had given them weapons. They were only intending to go on their first job. What should they be imprisoned for?

Q: What pushes youngsters into this mess? I mean, it's clear: age from 18 to 22 does not presuppose presense of fully-developed brain in anybody's head, but yet, there is some common causes, characteristics, situation — generally speaking, something common? […] E.g., Domodedovo's terrorist was very young and from Ingushetia too. Did you had occasion to meet anybody before this act of terrorism? […] And another general question: is it possible to commit something of that kind without participation of officers of security services [Siloviks]? All terrorist acts left feeling that somebody from officers had to help, render patronage and stuff. […] What do you think?
HardIngush: Domodedovo suicide bomber wanted to suicide himself. Religious motive played indirect role. He stole a girl to create a family, but he wasn't able to earn her love. She talked on phone with unfamiliar to him men and acted demonstratively scornfully to this loser. Well, life of this man didn't work out well. And there were guys who told him how one can “die with honor and get in paradise.”
Resons are standard — money, fanaticism, desire to get some social status, win authority and respect, find friends, which won't despise… Why people get in sects? Loneliness, disorderliness in life, rejectiveness from normal society…
As regards participation of security services — it's only conpsiracy theory. US were proud of their anti-aircraft defense but it didn't stop terrorist from demolishing twin towers. Rats will always find a chink. Former officers of Ministry of Home Affairs fired on bad grounds help them too in finding weak points of system.
Q:And is that all? That's all motive? So he wasn't even crazy enough on religion? I'm sorry, but it's fucked up…
HardIngush: Why? A lot of crimes happen because women don't yield to man.
